A management committee, known as the Executive, shall carry out the management of the CCC. The Executive of the CCC shall be made up of no less than eight members of the CCC who, as the office-bearers of the CCC, shall hold the following portfolios:
a) Chairperson: responsible for convening and chairing General Meetings, Special General Meetings and Executive Meetings and chairing the Annual General Meeting; acting as spokesperson for the CCC and the overall coordination of the CCC’s activities.
b) Deputy Chairperson: responsible for assisting the Chairperson with their duties at the Chairperson’s request or when the Chairperson is absent.
c) Treasurer: responsible for the financial management of the CCC.
d) Secretary: responsible for administration, convening Special General Meetings with the assistance of the Chairperson, keeping a record of minutes, drawing up agendas for all meetings with the input of relevant Executive members, distributing the agendas for all meetings and minutes of the previous meeting to all members at least two days before the meeting in question and keeping a database of members.
e) Communication, media and branding Officers: Two Officers will coordinate the actions relevant to this category with participation by the willing membership. They will also be responsible for contributing to the work of other categories as deemed necessary by the Executive. These Officers will also be responsible for the coordination of a CCC newsletter and will publicise and promote the CCC, encouraging new membership.
d) Visual and Performing Arts Officers: Two Officers will coordinate the actions relevant to this category with participation by the willing membership. They will also be responsible for contributing to the work of other categories as deemed necessary by the Executive.
e) Environmental Conservation, Awareness and Management Officers: Two Officers will coordinate the actions relevant to this category with participation by the willing membership. They will also be responsible for contributing to the work of other categories as deemed necessary by the Executive.
f) Social Development Officers: Two Officers will coordinate the actions relevant to this category with participation by the willing membership. They will also be responsible for contributing to the work of other categories as deemed necessary by the Executive.
